Wendy Williams is speaking up and out about claims that she is “permanently incapacitated.”

Shattering the silence about her health condition and the legal drama she is at the center, the media maestra phoned The Breakfast Club to tell her side.

Accompanied by her niece Alex, Williams unpacked the reality of her conservatorship, being cut off from the world, and stressed that “my money is in prison.”

The complete narrative is provided below…

Opening up to Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious, and Loren LaRosa refuted claims made by her legal guardian Sabrina E. Morrissey. With candor, the 60-year-old declared:

"I'm not mentally impaired, just to be clear. Yet, I feel trapped, like I'm stuck in a prison. I’m surrounded by people in their 70s, 80s, and 90s... There’s definitely something off about the folks on this floor."

Speaking on the ‘Where is Wendy Williams?’ documentary, which is now the center of a legal wrangle, the TV maven says her legal guardian wanted to proceed with the project. She said:

"She was the one who pushed for that, do you see what I mean? How do I feel about being mistreated? Honestly, this system I find myself in is flawed; it's been distorted in many ways."

Williams further expressed that "emotional abuse" is involved, among other factors.

Alex mentioned:

“My aunt seems wonderful. Although my interactions with her have been quite limited, I have had the chance to see and speak with her. This doesn’t align with the idea of someone who is incapacitated. That’s why we describe her situation as a luxury prison; she is being confined and punished for reasons that others are speculating about, justifying her continued detainment.”
