The couple announced their split after four years together in a heartfelt social media post that has left fans heartbroken. Matt, the 33-year-old former Bachelor star, took to Instagram on Thursday to share his sorrow. He wrote: "Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts."

He persisted with an appeal for harmony and compassion: "Grant us a serenity regarding this choice to conclude our relationship that goes beyond human comprehension." His words concluded on an optimistic tone as he wrote: "Bestow kindness and love upon our friends and family to soothe our hearts. And help us remember that our true Joy is derived from you, Lord."
